You could book out a private lesson, with the additional person(s) from 1-3 reducing the price by $10. E.g. if you book a 2HR Lesson and 1 person books they would pay $75, if they want to bring a friend, just call us within 24 hours of the day to add extra people at 2 -3 people $65 each.

Give us a call to arrange this; we can even organize cake for birthdays!
I am scared of sharks
Too many movies aye!?
The chances of encountering a dangerous shark are very slim and then the chances of it attacking you are even slimmer as humans are not their natural prey.
It’s Ok to be a bit scared or cautious. Many people feel this way and still manage to have fun learning to surf with us. The instructor will be close by through out the whole lesson and we will not be going deeper than waist deep water for the first lesson.
Shark attacks are very rare and we have a few ideas to ensure maximum safety from unlikely events such as shark encounters.
1. Don’t pee in your wetsuit.
2. Stay calm and relaxed using smooth strokes in the water
3. Listen to the instructor at all times
When can I get my photos/video?
Within 24 to 48 hours
Within 24 to 48 hours of your Surf lesson, you will be sent a private link to download them from- in high quality.
Alternatively we are happy to post these to you on CD/DVD.
What if it Rains?
So glad you asked!
Well, surfing is the ultimate rainy day sport!!
To be a surfer you have to get used to getting wet in the ocean.
The rain simply adds a bit of magic to the experience, and gives you a rinse on your way back to the car to get all the salt off. So RAIN is GOOD!! Come on out!!
Do you cancel Lessons?
Rarely
from time to time we may if conditions are not favorable for the level of the group. For example we might have a howling wind and massive waves at our preferred location, we can either choose a beach that is sheltered from the conditions or we can postpone the lesson.
In the event that the postponement is inconvenient for you we will give you a voucher valid for 2 years to use at another time.
How do I pay for a lesson?
It’s easy:
We have a few options for payment. You can pay by credit card, bank transfer, PayPal or cash*
Simply go to the Booking – Prices section by clicking here select your lesson and select your favourite payment method.
*Please note that for multi day bookings or single bookings with more than 2 people, at least 30% deposit is required in advance to secure the booking and the remaining cash can be paid on the day. Feel free to drop us a line if this is not possible for you and we will try and work something out 😉
